ABC Wednesday! S is for Smart!

Smart enough to read and enjoy admiring my picture in Salty Dogs!













Smart enough to learn new tricks that earn a reward of food!






Smart enough to know to clean the bowl when the humans arent looking!

Smart enough to find the treat ball no matter where it is hidden!

Treat ball time!

Rain out side, what will I do? Time to beg the lady to fill the treat ball.

After it is filled, I tried to see if rolling on it makes the treat come out.

Then I play soccer with it and I make sure to backtrack to make sure I didn't miss any morsel that might have dropped out along the way. Tommorrow I will show some more ways to enjoy your treat ball.

New Review of Salty Dogs!

This book of color photographs of dogs taken at the beach by Jean M Fogle is absolutely wonderful! Paired with appropriate quotations ranging from “All animals except man know that the ultimate in life is to enjoy it” (Samuel Butler) to “Happiness depends on ourselves” (Aristotle), the book joyfully celebrates the true meaning of a fun day the beach: sun, sand, water, tide, toys and sticks floating by. It reminds us all that sometimes, now matter what else is going on, if you live full in the present sometimes life really is a day at the beach. This book is an excellent gift for any dog and beach lover.

ABC Wednesday! R is for Remembering

The day before yesterday, a friend of mine Tommy passed away. He had a heart tumor they just discovered and it was too much.
Tommy was a nice guy, here he is with Tia, the other boston he lived with. The is on the right.
