My lady just informed me that they are going to the beach without me. Even if I am going to stay with friends, it makes me sad. Sometimes it is alright to be sad, just don't make it a habit!
It might be a hard task, but you need to put the effort into it if you want the reward. I wanted the chipmunk that was chipping under this woodpile, so I decided to disassemble the woodpile. Sadly, my effort didn't pay off as the lady hauled me indoors to give the chipmunk a chance to get away.
My mister befriended this squirrel and named him Bullwinkle. I was very interested in playing with him, and not in a good way. I have learned it is best to tolerate your friend's friends.
While it might not be the most graceful way to swim, I find the dog paddle works just fine. No matter what people say, if it works for you , go for it!
I thought you might enjoying seeing one of the pictures of me that will be in my book Salty Dogs. This picture captures what I feel each time I hit the beach: Pure Joy! Today if you need a break, just go in your mind to the beach, it helps!
In addition to a lot of exercise, I make sure I eat the right foods. For a trim waistline, eat carrots! They taste good, fill you up , and best of all they are good for you!
If you sometimes feel you are just a shadow of yourself, you are not alone. My advice is to shake it off, get outside, get some sun, and soon you will feel like your old self again.
A while back I told you that a little dirt never hurt anyone. I would like to ammend that , while it won't hurt, don't count on it tasting good! Yuccckkk!
For the life of me , I can not figure out how my lady can think this picture is funny. They found this fake tail and insisted that I stay while they set up the picture. Of course I had to be gracious about it. I must admit it does look pretty real, tho my stubby tail is much better suited to me.
You humans don't much like your birthdays after you reach a certain point. The best way to enjoy your birthday is to let the ones that love you give you a hat and sing you happy birthday. You don't have to like it, but try to put on a happy face, I tried but didn't quite succeed. After the party get out and do something you love on your special day. I got to go squirrel hunting, but that might not be your favorite activity!
I am the author of Salty Dogs- a photo book of dogs at the beach.
