Finally I get to see my book!

Being patient is not an easy thing for anyone, but I found waiting to see the advance copy of Salty Dogs very trying! It came yesterday and I got to look at all the cute pics of ,well, ME!! This is one of my favorites , I am smiling waiting to hit the beach! Just so you don't get the wrong idea, this book is about a lot of different dogs, not just me. There are Labs, Goldens, Rat Terriers, Borzoi, German Shepherds,Dalamations, French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, Boxers and more!

Be Kind to Deliverymen!

Nothing makes me much happier than hearing the delivery trucks pull in! I have made friends with everyone of the drivers and they often give me treats. Learn to get along with these guys, they have a tough job and often encounter nasty tempered dogs. Show them how nice you can be, you might just get a treat!

I was listed as Spam!

Right before the lady left to get her last son married, my blog was listed as spam, hence the no posting for a while. Can you imagine me as spam ?? Instead of getting mad, I just figured you all would have to do without me for a while. I am guessing you survived!

Relax!

Humans find the sound of a gently flowing creek helps them relax. Luckily, us dogs are good at relaxing but we still enjoy going to the creek.

You should be Ashamed!

In our lives we will do plenty of things we are ashamed of. It is often better to just own up to it and let them know you are ashamed of yourself!

Worth a try!

Sometimes to get our way, we must be willing to beg. It never hurts to try and often the rewards are great!

Be Joyful!

Be joyful in everything you do! At least try to be. Us dogs are lucky, our lives are full of joy and no worries about the future. Hum, sing , laugh or just smile, sometimes the action alone will help you feel better.Better yet, take a break and have some fun with your dog!

Exercise your mind!

Today is too hot to go out! On hot days my lady hides my treat ball and then tells me to go find. This game in the cool house exercises both body and mind.

Now, if I could only find where the heck she hid the treat ball this time!

Jump for Joy!

Finally the lady has returned! One of you asked if I would get a lot of presents when she returned.While I got no material gifts, I did get to do what I love the best, hunt!
